Please give a close shave to the areas receiving the treatment the morning of your appointment. For harder to reach areas such as backside, we can provide assistance just prior to application of our laser for an additional charge and prior notice while making appointment.

If possible, wear clothing that will allow access to the area to be treated.

Areas to be treated should be as light as possible, so avoid tanning 3 to 4 weeks leading up to your treatment. We can safely treat darker skin by scaling down the level of energy, doing so makes the application less effective. Also, avoid sunless tanning products leading up to your appointment.

The area to be treated should be freshly cleaned and left free from any make-up, perfumes, lotions, creams, and antiperspirants.

Do not wax, tweeze or thread area to be treated 3 to 4 weeks prior to receiving laser hair reduction.

Do not bleach or lighten any hair that will be treated.

Please discontinue use of all products containing retinols and glycolics five days prior to laser hair reduction treatment.

If you have a history of perioral herpes (cold sores) and you are having your face treated, prophylactic antiviral therapy must be started before treatment and continued one week post.

You must advise us of any medications you’re currently taking or have in the last six months which will increase sensitivity to light. Examples include antibiotics, antifungal medications and Accutane.
